Production History




Active mine production for this patented claim began in 1903.  The US Department of the Interior Bulletin 906-D from 1939 shows Smelter Returns on average of 3.97 ounces (oz) gold per ton. The documented gold extracted from the mine equates to approximately $50 million in today’s market.


Ore Reserves

85,000 est. tons of 1 oz /ton gold available from surface to 400 foot level.  This equates to $140 Million in gold return alone. Virgin territory exists below 600 foot level with potential of over another 100,000 ounces. Over an estimated 15,000 tons in dump material with an average of 0.7 estimated gold per ton available for immediate refining.

Flotation Processing – Froth Flotation method recovers est. 95% gold

The mine has an 800 foot vertical shaft and 8 levels of horizontal shafts.  The mine has an estimated minimum depth of over 1,400 feet but was only worked to the 500 foot before mining was halted due to World War II.
